                                                  3 to 6 p.m.

Join here.

On December 5th, 2020 from 3 to 6 p.m. EST, Dr. Bell's #BlackLivesMatter class will host a community gathering centered in joy, love, and liberation. At the event, on-the-ground activists will join students and community members to celebrate the students' work and collectively move their work forward.

First Hour

Activists will speak about their work.

Second Hour

Students will present their work in their groups, which are:

  • We Just Be Talking About Environmental Liberation

  • PowerClutch: Policy to the People

  • Rethinking and Decolonizing Education for All

  • Uncomfortable Conversations: Unlearning Privileges

  • Healing from the Soul (Sole) to the Whole

  • Love as the Blueprint

Third Hour

Groups will host workshops in breakout rooms with activists and any community members who choose to join them. Each group is creating its own breakout room plan, all of which center interacting with everyone present.

We hope that every participant leaves this gathering grounded in the amazing work and ideas the students and activists put forward, and all are ready to create change in their own communities.

Please join us on 12/5 for this incredible event! For more information and resources, please go to https://linktr.ee/streetdanceactivism, and you can join the Zoom on Saturday here.
