Two guest lecturers visited Professor Keith L. Walker's Winter '16 seminar, AAAS 88/From Diaspora Practices to Theory:

Dr. Fabio Fua Nascimento, Capoeira Master, was guest lecturer during the session pictured in these photographs and spoke on "Brazil, Slavery and Alternative Diaspora Epistemologies and World-views."

Earlier in the course, Dr. Salvador Almagro-Moreno (Geisel School of Medicine) guest lectured on "Pathogens and Diaspora, the Case of Haiti, Cholera, Environmental Reservoirs and Impact on Disease Transmission."
