The S. Jay Walker Memorial Reading Room was named in honor of Professor S. Jay Walker, who was Chair of the Black Studies Program from 1972-1977 and a Professor in the English Department. The Reading Room is located on the first floor of Choate House and is open for student and faculty use. It is also available for small group meetings.
